Reporting to the Managing Partner, the senior practitioner will work across a broad range of clients heading up the public affairs and parliamentary work of the consultancy.

With more than 10 years’ professional and international public affairs/corporate communications and media relations expertise, he/she will have a proven track record in devising and implementing strategic public affairs and PR campaigns and be able to use media management to significantly effect policy shift. Considerable experience in stakeholder communications and the ability to support client investor relations programmes through counsel on competition and regulatory issues, will be essential. 

The successful candidate will have worked on international communications challenges, have expertise in communications risk management and be confident in providing counsel at Board of Director level (either at client firms or for in-house) on public affairs, government relations, stakeholder relationship building, political media relations, reputation building, competition and regulation policy management (in both the UK & Europe), corporate communications and management and will actively participate on client accounts day-to-day, across the very wide communications and public affairs activities of the consultancy.

With a confident and diplomatic manner and strong (and proven) influencing skills, the Director will be a born communicator with excellent written and oral skills, able to exhibit strong client handling expertise at a very senior level, have proven media relations expertise including development of core materials and selling-in/pitching, have in depth knowledge of media management processes in the UK, Europe and across international news services/wires, and have ability to, and experience of, helping to develop new business across a broad range of niche markets.

ACCOUNT DIRECTOR - CORPORATE PUBLIC AFFAIRS CONSULTANCY -  BRUSSELS - SIGNIFICANT BASIC SALARY PLUS PACKAGE

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a good, experienced Public Affairs Practitioner ideally with a technology, ICT or telecommunications background, proven track EU record and excellent communication skills, wishing to now build their career within one of the world's top consultancies specialising in corporate public affairs, integrating government relations, coalition building, issues management and corporate communications.

The Account Director will be responsible for developing communication plans, managing client relationships, developing new business and marketing the consultancy within Brussels. He/she will be able to develop effective strategic plans and will have excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interface with all levels of staff and clients. Experience within a trade association, NGO or an international company as well as substantial recent consultancy experience would be preferred.

With a minimum 3- 5 years experience working within a consultancy environment or in-house, and a first hand knowledge of the EU and related European institutions, the Account Director will have excellent Pan-European media credentials as well as proven strong relationships with Brussels-based media. The candidate should be a native English speaker (or completely fluent) with at least one other EU language, preferably French. Senior Associate  for  Global Strategic Communications and Public Affairs Consultancy. Based BRUSSELS. - Salary circa EUR 55-60k + bonus + generous package + car
