established independent public affairs consultancy with offices in Brussels, London and
Dublin seeks to appoint an experienced, highly focused and ambitious EU public affairs and
communications practitioner with excellent written and spoken English, a good level of
French and ideally additional EU languages. This is an opportunity for the successful

The role
will centre on delivering the highest level of policy and communications advice to
clients, in line with our firm's strong client ethos of helping clients to meet their
business objectives. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate strong
commercial instincts and a solid network of business contacts, with a good record of
business development. A minimum of 5 years prior experience in EU public affairs, ideally
gained in a consultancy setting is sought, together with an expert understanding of the EU
policy process and broader political environment. In addition sound sectoral experience,
preferably in transport, energy and/or financial services would be desirable.
The
successful candidate will be required to take charge of a number of EU public affairs
accounts and projects, assuming responsibility for delivery of planning, services and
reporting for current clients and to assist in targeted marketing of the company to
corporate audiences. He or she will also be willing to travel, work across multiple client
accounts and be entitled to work in the European Union.

CONSULTANCY - With a minimum 3- 5 years experience working within a consultancy environment or in-house, and a first hand knowledge of the EU and related European institutions, the Account Director will have excellent Pan-European media credentials as well as proven strong relationships with Brussels-based media. The candidate should be a native English speaker (or completely fluent) with at least one other EU language, preferably French. MANAGER PR/PA - BRUSSELS Reporting to an Account Director and senior management in this growing Brussels office of an major international PR and PA agency, the Account Manager will manage assigned accounts by providing client direction, supervising activities of team members to achieve client goals and ensuring quality in the work produced.
She/he will also serve as a Manager on client programmes, ensuring quality for the client and profitability for the agency.
This position specifically requires excellent coordination & organisational skills as it involves the co-ordination of a large number of European offices for a major pan-European client. A sound understanding of the EU is essential.
The successful candidate will be a graduate and possess 4-5 years previous Public Relations/Communications experience including some people management gained in an agency, in-House or equivalent background.
Language skills should include fully fluent written and spoken English, good French & any other European language would be an asset
