
Executive Officer on the Council of Europe The EU Office (EUO) of Amnesty International (AI) is looking for an Executive Officer to lead on the relationship between AI and the Council of Europe (CoE); the full-time permanent post is to join our team in June 2010. The post holder will work with AIs International Secretariat (IS) in London, national sections, and within the EU Office team to draw together and coordinate the implementation of AIs strategy on the CoE in line with the movements priorities. The post holder will lead on the political advocacy response, monitor relevant bodies and developments, and integrate other appropriate strands of work led by others into a comprehensive strategy. We are looking for a specialist in CoE affairs, who enjoys translating CoE contexts into advocacy action for the AI movement and is able to interact with key decision-makers on behalf of AI and with AI staff.
