An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Public Affairs Practitioner with a Consultancy/Corporate background, proven EU track record and excellent communication and time management skills, now wishing to build their career within one of the world's top consultancies specialising in corporate public affairs, to head up their operation in Poland.

The Managing Director will be responsible for developing the Polish HQ of this major consultancy, attracting new business and marketing the consultancy within Poland. The candidate must be a team player, able to demonstrate a good understanding of Poland's economy, business, and FDI and be well-respected in the Polish PR/PA arena.

He/she will be client-focused, with excellent leadership skills, able to develop effective strategic plans with exceptional written and oral communication skills, and the proven ability to set up, motivate and lead a team. Ability to manage all financial aspects of the business will be essential. Experience in either consultancy or in-house with an international company, would be preferred. With a minimum 10 years’ professional experience, the candidate should be bi-lingual (English-Polish) and well-connected within the media and political scene in Poland. A highly competitive salary is offered, plus substantial benefits package.

Our client, a leading force in corporate, public affairs and public relations consultancy in Central and Eastern Europe, Russia and several former Soviet states is looking to appoint a DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER to make a significant contribution to the on-going success and development of this well established and strong consultancy force in the Polish market.

Building on the firm foundations of the group, you will manage a team of consultants bringing to the fore your experience of the Romanian political system, business environment and cultural scene.

Experience, ideally gained as a senior consultant in a Public Affairs or Public Relations environment, people management, sound budgetary skills and the ability to work as part of the senior management team in the region, but also act independently, are all essential requirements for the role. A thirst for the cut and thrust of new business generation is also desirable.

Fluent English and Polish, both written and spoken are essential

A relocation package will be available.
